Price Plan Reviews
Every year more than 12% of people find that their electricity usage has changed to the point that a different plan would have been better for them. 12%! Wow, that's a lot of people.

Price Plan Reviews are handy. The main reason for reviewing where you sit on the price-plan scale is to ensure you are on the plan that suits you best. Based on your usage over the previous 12 months, we're looking out for you so you don't get stuck paying more for your electricity than you have to.

Depending on the network area your home is in, Mercury offers up to three price plans to suit your needs. Every year Price Plan Review will review the residential price plan you are on, based on your actual energy usage at the same property over the previous twelve months*.

Once we've got a handle on what you're actually using energy-wise, we'll recommend the best pricing plan for you in the coming year.

Because the choice to change is yours, if you think your energy usage may change significantly in the coming year, you can choose a different plan.

We'll still check your plan again the following year just to make sure you're on the best plan still. To see your next price plan review date, go to the My Account section of our site or ring us on 0800 10 18 10.

* If you move properties, your Price Plan Review date will be revised and will be approximately 14 months after you move into your new property. Reviews will not be undertaken more than once in a 12 month period for each property.

The Price Plan Review service only applies to residential customers who are on a validated price plan. There will be some instances where a customer will not qualify for Price Plan Review when they are on an incorrect price plan due to incorrect or unavailable information about their capacity, metering configuration or property classification. These customers will be contacted directly and moved to the correct plan before the Price Plan Review process will occur.
